Welcome to Art 46! This blog will provide you with all your need to know information about due dates, assignments, and any changes to our agenda. I will also use this as an opportunity to share any very cool things I come across and would encourage you to do the same. For instance these nike dunks shown below that are inspired by the "blue and white ceramic wares" from the Qing Dynasty. I will update this site often with various images and information so check in often. Now lets play with mud!

Bella 40 Years of Sculpture Lecture
One of the things Bella said during the lecture, really struck me: "Art has to be like an addiction...like dope." I loved that she came to share her experiences. I can even relate to how she said she hates working in "isolation at home" because that's when you just keep doing what you've always done. When you work alone, you don't learn anything, and all the pieces you create end up looking the same as the ones before. Of all the series that she showed us, my favorite is probably the green flask. It's stuff like that, that remind me of happy accidents. It's not intended, but it doesn't hinder the work at all. In fact, I think the green pigment in the flask actually helped the piece.
