Welcome to Art 46! This blog will provide you with all your need to know information about due dates, assignments, and any changes to our agenda. I will also use this as an opportunity to share any very cool things I come across and would encourage you to do the same. For instance these nike dunks shown below that are inspired by the "blue and white ceramic wares" from the Qing Dynasty. I will update this site often with various images and information so check in often. Now lets play with mud!

Cubism chess set?
Kat!! would this count as cubism chess set??
this one looked interesting..but I wasn't sure if this would count as cubism
Hey Kristine, I think you're on to something. Remember the cubists were interested in challenging the conventions of perspective drawing. They deconstructed forms into geometric shapes, took them a part and put them back together creating entirely new ways of seeing! It was really pretty radical stuff at the time and all about breaking the rules of drawing. Maybe the one you pictured is still a bit conventional for a cubist!?!
