Welcome to Art 46! This blog will provide you with all your need to know information about due dates, assignments, and any changes to our agenda. I will also use this as an opportunity to share any very cool things I come across and would encourage you to do the same. For instance these nike dunks shown below that are inspired by the "blue and white ceramic wares" from the Qing Dynasty. I will update this site often with various images and information so check in often. Now lets play with mud!

Day of the Dead Exhibit
The Day of the Dead exhibit on the 5th floor of King Library was very interesting. Their were fruits and decorative things laid out in honor of the dead. The piece that stood out to me was the tall Skeleton in a dress holding what looked like a pinata stick. That was my favorite because it really stood out. I think the skeleton in the dress symbolized someone that passed but has come back on the Day of the Dead to celebrate with their loved ones. The Day of the Dead exhibit was very cool and I advise you to check it out if you haven't already.
